Scott McClellan, former White House Press Secretary, penned the new book “WHAT HAPPENED: Inside the Bush White House and What’s Wrong With Washington” tells his story of the years in the Bush White House. The book is highly viewed by Bush supporters as a “betrayal” to the Bush White House. Ari Fleischer, former Bush Press Secretary, Dan Bartlett, former Counselor to President Bush and Karl Rove “Bush’s Brain” have reacted by painting Scott McClellan as a “disgruntled” worker looking for pay back and a pay day with the timing of the book release. I think it is interesting that Bush loyalists are using words such as; “puzzled”, saddened”, “sounds like a left-wing blogger” or “this is not the Scott we knew”, to describe Mr. McClellan’s scathing portrayal of the events leading up to selling the Iraq war, the CIA leak case of Valerie Plame and his assessment of George W. Bush’s thought process.
I think it is very admirable of Scott McClellan to tell the truth as he knows it, in order to give the public a behind the scenes look of the secretive Bush White House. The bigger story, he says, is how all the staff for President Bush, including Bush, thought they all could change Washington politics for the better. He thought the timing of his book release was important so that McCain or Obama would not make the same mistakes in the future. I believe the critizism of the last 8 years is far from over for Rove, Bush, Cheney and perhaps Rumsfeld. Kudos to McClellan for standing up for what is right!

LILONGWE, Malawi (AP) — A Malawi judge has approved Madonna’s adoption of a Malawian boy she met in an orphanage in 2006. The 49-year-old pop star wasn’t in court for Wednesday’s ruling. Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, have been caring for the boy, David Banda, in London. David turns 3 in November. David’s mother died when he was a month old. His father has said he believed he could not care for him alone, and that placing him in an orphanage was the best way to ensure David’s survival. The father has said he didn’t object to the adoption. Critics have said Madonna used her celebrity status to circumvent Malawian adoption laws — allegations she denies. Malawian law is fuzzy on foreign adoptions. Regulations only stipulate that prospective parents undergo an 18- to 24-month assessment period in Malawi, a rule that was bent when Madonna was allowed to take David to London. Speaking to reporters last week at the Cannes Film Festival, Madonna said the criticism hurt. “It was a big struggle, and I didn’t understand it,” she said. “But in the end I rationalized that, when a woman has a child and goes through natural childbirth, she suffers an enormous amount.” Madonna and Ritchie have a son, Rocco, 7, and Madonna has a daughter, Lourdes, 11. Madonna met David while establishing charity projects in Malawi. She is funding her own and six other orphanages in the country. Her Raising Malawi organization also announced that the singer is funding a multimillion-dollar academy for disadvantaged children in Malawi. “I Am Because We Are,” a new documentary that Madonna produced and narrated, shows poverty and disease devastating the lives of Malawi’s children, and urges people to volunteer

Angelina Jolie has already confirmed that she is having twins, but she wouldn’t say what the babie’s sex are. Fox’s Roger Friedman spoke to Angelina at the party for “Kung Fu Panda” in Cannes and he may have found out the sex of the two chosen ones. He writes:
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twin girls likely will be fraternal, not identical. The stunning actress said “there was a line” on the sonogram that indicates her daughters are not going to be perfect copies of each other.
Wow, 6 kids since Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Brad Pitt really was serious when he said that he wanted enough kids for a soccer team. Jennifer Aniston was smart hauling ass away from him! That could have been her producing Brad’s baby army. Perhaps the people that write about J.A.’s misery since the creation of Brangelina have it all backwards, she knew what Bradley had in store in the baby department. Gosh, my vagina hurts thinking about just one child but isn’t Angie’s dress just a beautiful shade of green?
