The idea to start The Kill Floor came after watching the movie “Fast Food Nation” that depicted the unforgivable animal cruelty that took place in a meat packing plant. While the scene may be a shockingly stark depiction of the barbarism that is alive and well in modern times, it can also serve as a metaphor. We live in a cut-throat world that is not limited to cattle but people as well, in virtually every facet of our lives.
